Julie’s dream was to be in practice and provide exceptional services to the clients as a complete package which is why we like the tagline “Not your Average Accountants”.  Julie’s dream was achieved in 2007 when JHO CPA was formed; with client’s that go back 30 years, it is a pleasure to be inside their lives and businesses making a difference.  Julie is our leader, mentor and the go-to person for all things JHO CPA as well as the underground home dweller with her husband Peter and loves to laugh.

Janeile joined JHO CPA, after a long courtship, in July 2017.  Janeile worked with JHO CPA, in an external role of Administration and Finance Manager, for one of our Medical Practitioner clients for about 3 years.  Janeile has her own bookkeeping business that she started over 10 years ago and JHO CPA works closely with Janeile on various bookkeeping and client projects that require a detailed and proactive touch.  Janeile has experience over a diverse mix of clients professions and industries and that complements the JHO CPA team.  Janeile is an old fashioned country girl, a dedicated mum and soon to be skipper, our happiness fairy who spreads joy and light in her wake.

Michelle joined JHO CPA in September 2015 after a long association with one of our long-term, larger client groups.  Michelle has worked in accounts and administration for legal practices, international education groups and has a wealth of experience in the administration and bookkeeping areas over various software packages.  After an 11 year external association, we agreed that JHO CPA was the place for Michelle.  Michelle has been a welcome addition to the administration and bookkeeping team, working closely with Janeile to manage our client BAS and bookkeeping requirements and also assisting Julie in several of the practice administration area.  Michelle is currently upgrading her qualifications undertaking a Diploma in Accounting.  Michelle is family girl, an avid traveller and sometimes you have to do a quick second take just in case she is disguised in flippers and a snorkel.

Clare joined JHO CPA in January 2016 after migrating to Australia as a new bride.  Clare worked briefly in Rockhampton in Queensland and we don’t hold that against her.  Clare started with JHO CPA archives and we quickly knew that Clare had a talent for attention to detail and the experience to take on an accountants role for our client accounting needs.  Clare now supports the JHO CPA team in the preparation of Accounts and Income Tax related work, as well as being a great bookkeeper assisting in the day to day requirements of our client sites backing up Janeile and Michelle when required.  Clare is a dedicated family girl and our caravan and camping queen and loves a laugh.

Shelby joined JHO CPA in May 2018 with a strong background in contract management and administration.  Shelby has not worked in public practice before and has taken to our systems and procedures like a duck to water!

Shelby is the primary telephone contact for client liaison and queries; Shelby deals with all tax payments and Australian Taxation Office negotiations on behalf of the practice.  With Shelby’s wide range of experience in professional offices, along with her attention to detail, Shelby has quickly become a valuable member of the team ensuring all the practice’s clients receive exceptional and personal service.
